Shoot, working with Cost for Lesson Plan #2 isn't working so good. Have you chosen your topic for your lesson plan yet? I'm considering changing mine, but I don't want to steal your topic.
How did you work out your lesson for cost (of materials I'm assuming?) because, I want to do something centered around clutch size (number of eggs laid) for different species of birds. I was thinking have the students make dioramas of the nest they have chosen and have the students go around "collecting data." Then, input the data into a spreadsheet to create a bar graph to compare clutch sizes.
P.s. Sorry it's taken me a long time to get back to you this weekend. I went to Ludington for the weekend.
My Lesson Plan #2 consisted of the students going to other classrooms to see how much they projected building the habitat would cost (in order to get a clear idea of how much money we would have to raise).
